Absolutely fantastic. One of the best restaurants I have been to in NYC. The hummus sampler was outstanding. Next level. The chicken was unbelievably tender, moist. The lamb was quite good too. The dessert Katafi cheese cake was divine. The service was impeccable. Menu is a bit limited so check it first. But if it suits you, you must go. Also, its lively and a tad loud. But that's good. This is not culinary art, its got to be witchcraft or some kind of magic. Bravo!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Brunch Experience! We had such a fantastic time at Zou Zou’s for brunch! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the beautiful decor—the atmosphere is truly incredible and makes for such a lovely setting. The food was nothing short of perfection. We ordered the Tower to start, and everything from the presentation to the flavor was spot on. Between our table, we also tried the eggs and the burger, both of which were absolutely delicious. Every single dish we ordered was a winner. To top it off, the drinks were excellent. The espresso martini was awesome, and the coffee was top-tier. A huge thank you to our server, Jonathan, who was incredibly kind and polite throughout our meal. He really helped make our experience special. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely be back!
We’re local on 9th Avenue, and one of my favorite things to do is explore the amazing restaurants in our neighborhood. Since I’m usually very busy running my travel agency, I truly enjoy discovering great local dining experiences whenever I can. As the owner of Ana Luxury Travel, I’m always looking for exceptional restaurants to recommend to my clients who are visiting New York City—and this one is an easy 5 out of 5 stars! From the moment we arrived, we had an amazing experience. Arianna gave us such a warm welcome, and the manager noticed we were dining with our baby and thoughtfully arranged a more spacious table for us. That attention to detail made us feel truly valued. We ordered the Chef’s Special for Two, and there was more than enough food—we even had to take food at home! The quality of the food was outstanding, and considering the location, the prices were incredibly reasonable. It’s rare to find such excellent value in this part of Manhattan. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends, family, and especially to my clients visiting NYC. It’s a wonderful place with delicious food, outstanding hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Zou Zou was such a great dining experience from start to finish. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. For appetizers, the dips were delicious and a perfect way to start the meal, the tuna tartare was fresh and light, and the hot kasseri cheese was rich, warm, and incredibly satisfying. For the mains, the grilled half chicken was tender, while the branzino was cooked perfectly and tasted fresh and delicate. The sides were just as impressive — the Brussels sprouts, charred broccoli, crispy latkes, and roasted sweet potatoes were all standout dishes that complemented the meal so well. To drink, the sumac spritz was refreshing and unique, and for dessert, the kataifi cheesecakes and lemon frozen yogurt were the perfect ending — sweet, balanced, and memorable. Zou Zou delivers amazing food, great variety, and a fun upscale atmosphere. Definitely a place I would return to and recommend.
Five stars all around, genuinely one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had. Amazingly delicious food, great service, lively ambience and beautiful decor. You can’t go wrong with anything here. We came here for a birthday brunch and had the best time. Would recommend for special occasions, especially if you happen to be seated at the booths!
