5 stars. The Otter is such a cool spot and easily one of the better brunch experiences we had in NYC. The second you walk in, the place has a great vibe. Beautiful design, dark blue walls, warm lighting, orange seating and a really nice bar. Even the bathrooms are wild and completely fit the personality of the place. We came for brunch and everything felt polished without being stuffy. The menu has a great mix of traditional brunch food with some more interesting options, plus a full raw bar and really good cocktail selection. We had the mixed berries as well and they were super fresh. Service was friendly, attentive and never rushed us. The restaurant itself was spotless and the whole atmosphere just feels upscale, relaxed and very New York at the same time. Definitely a place where you could come for brunch, sit at the bar for a drink or make an entire meal out of it. Really enjoyed this one. Great food, great atmosphere, beautiful space and somewhere I would absolutely come back to. Easy 5 stars.

Located at The Manner Hotel, The Otter has become one of my FAVORITE restaurants in the city and is a must-visit especially if you're in the soho area. If you like seafood, this is your place. The oysters were so fresh - we were instantly impressed. Little did we know the halibut would blow us away! It was cooked to perfection and the the mint was such a nice touch. This was a girl dinner so ofc we HAD to get the seasoned fries, of course, which did not disappoint. But what we really need to talk about is the desserts because oh my you need to try every single one of them: the pistachio tiramisu are you kiddddding, and the chocolate ice cream were so good. It's the perfect place to get dressed up, down some martinis, and have an incredibly chic night with delicious food. I love the high fashion nature of the crowd and the dimly lit sexy ambience. Me & my girls are definitely coming back!

If you love seafood—especially raw oysters—The Otter in SoHo is an absolute must. Their happy hour is one of the best - oysters at just $2 each, and what really impressed me was that nothing about the experience felt “happy hour quality.” A huge part of what made our visit stand out was Hugo. His attention to detail is incredible, and he strikes the perfect balance of being warm, fun, and genuinely helpful without ever being pushy. His recommendations were spot-on and elevated the entire meal. Every dish we tried was excellent, but the biggest surprise was the rice pudding. I’m not a rice pudding person at all, and this was amazing—creamy, flavorful, and the perfect finish to the meal. Highly recommend.
