Fresh fish, comfortable, cozy, intimate atmosphere. Nice background music that can be on the indie alternative side at times. A cool show that involves a little bit of fire and a little bit of creativity, ending in a nice bite. Had a really great time.
Incredible service, fresh fish, great value for omakase (o-toro, wagyu!) You can BYOB but also order alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks now. Thank you for an amazing meal!!
Kaki Sushi was phenomenal. The staff was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu and sake offerings. They struck that perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. The sushi was outstanding: incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and inventive without feeling forced or gimmicky. Having eaten sushi all over the world, I don't say this lightly—Kaki ranks among the most memorable experiences I've had. The absolute highlight was the deep-fried eggshell stuffed with tuna and other carefully selected ingredients. It was pure perfection—one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal is over. Every course showcased exceptional technique, creativity, and restraint. They also have a solid sake selection, but it's great that they offer BYOB as well, giving guests plenty of options. In a city packed with great sushi restaurants, Kaki manages to stand out. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.
A great omakase with excellent value! The decor is clean without being bland, the chefs were very polite and attentive. All three appetizers were unique and delicious and even included a fire show! The selections of fish was well rounded, including popular and some newer cuts, (also the mackerel which can often be polarizing or overpowering was delicious). Sushi cuts were generous with simple toppings that didn’t overwhelm the fish, and the fish to rice ratio was perfect. Chef was attentive, sure to describe each piece. The dessert was delicious but also perfectly light, a balanced way to end a fantastic meal!
Such a great omakase spot. The meal starts with a fun mini fire show, then you’re treated to 15 courses,sushi apps, nigiri, a hand roll, and dessert. Everything was super fresh and well done. Amazing value for the price, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Definitely worth a visit, highly recommend if you’re an omakase lover 🍣🔥
