The sign outside the restaurant doesnt represent the level of food & hospitality at Tessa. First of all...the food was very, very delicious, very generous portions, very willing to modify for dietary restrictions. The menu items also have a good variety. I had the wagyu burger & the lamb ragu. Burger was perfect & I subbed for salad & the salad was generous in size. The lamb ragu pasta was one of the best Ive had if I'm honest. there was a little spice that gave complexity to the sauce, perfectly seasoned, Pasta was freshly made & topped with broccolini. The service was great the host was welcoming & I asked her for some recommendations & she gave good options. The server was VERY good, my order was a complicated. He placed it with ease & I got the impression that they are very happy & willing to help with my requests. That's at any restaurant can be a lot to handle but he was perfect. The food, team were everything I could ask for. During the day I liked how it was quieter because it actually made me feel like I didn't have to rush for once. It's very rare I feel like I'm able to fully relax in a restaurant. finally I stopped in the restroom. & it was a nicer bathroom then some 3 Michelin star restaurants in nyc & that's no joke. I will for sure becoming back. Wish I took picks, I will next time. The food was A++++

The staff is Amazingly well coordinated. The waitress was never out of sight and very accommodating. The food was great and is just as expected as the sister site to Asset.

Absolutely loved my experience at this restaurant! The grilled octopus was a standout dish—10/10 for sure! The flavors were incredible, and it was cooked to perfection. The fried cauliflower was equally impressive, also a 10/10; they had the perfect crunch and flavor. The romesco salmon was spot on, beautifully balanced and delicious. The ambiance was just what we needed for a chilly evening—gloomy and moody with candlelit tables that created a cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a date night or a special occasion! And let’s not forget the drinks! The Grey Goose martinis were amazing—smooth and refreshing. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I can't wait to repeat! Highly recommend!
