If you know trattoria l'incontro in Astoria then you know that L'incontro by Rocco can only be as amazing or better. Been eating food prepared by Rocco for the past 18-19 years and it's still as amazing as the first time we experienced it.
We had a great experience there for my girlfriend's birthday. Edwin our waiter was phenomenal and made the experience very welcoming. All the food we had was a hit and it was a great night. Definitely recommend!
If you’re looking for delicious Italian in the upper east side you must get a reservation at L’incontro by Rocoo! Food was full of flavor, portions were nice, and the staff were lovely! Love the ambience! Make sure you get the Midollo - Grilled bone marrow served with frisee and crumble parmigiano with beef tartar ,musto and mango puree.
The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful. Our server made some great recommendations. The food was delicious. What truly impressed me was the tagliarini with acqua di pomodoro. It’s a simple dish, but it packed a punch of flavors. The
Service was amazing! Food is phenomenal! We took a quick trip to NYC and decided to celebrate our anniversary here after some friends recommended it. They were fully booked, but I called right when they opened and they were able to squeeze us in for an early dinner, which worked out perfectly but I highly recommend making a reservation if you can. We met Chef Rocco as soon as we walked in and he was super friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was great too and really knew the menu. He walked us through all the specials. Not pictured because I forgot are the arugula salad and the raviolo we also had, which were so good. Honestly, this ended up being one of our favorite meals in the city. 10/10, we’re definitely coming back.
