I think the decor in this place was amazing, the chandeliers were 60s mod. The pasta was good- make sure to add burrata. I would say this is a good place to meet your roommates mother for the first time. Honestly, I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else. The appetizers are good- meatballs were a little bread-y, but the tomato was amazing. $19 for a tomato appetizer?! That’s questionable. It’s one fruit or vegetable, depending on your outlook. I had the chicken main, it was basically a smashed chicken. It was very fresh and olive oil dressing was light and enjoyable. You leave this place with a warm feeling of joy! Dinner with your friend‘s mother is successful. I would tell anyone to go to this pasta joint in the upper east for a wonderful vibe, impeccable service and great food.
My friend and I stopped by here for a late lunch and it did not disappoint! We opted for outdoor seating since the weather was nice and the UES atmosphere is pretty chill. The staff were also very nice and attentive, and the food was so good. Will definitely be going back.
Although the service was great, was simply not a fan of the food or drink. Tried the tagliatelle and their chicken parm and thought it was okay but a bit overprices, and their berry lemon spritz was okay, too sweet for me taste but if you like sweet then you should give it a try.
We had the Zucchini Fries, Ricotta Toast, Tagliatelle, and Garganelli. Everything was delicious! Our server, JP, was truly wonderful and gave us great advice on what to order. He was so attentive! The bartender, Christian, was also very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and the staff!
We were in the vicinity and popped in for a late lunch. We were seated promptly and ice with waters were greatly appreciated in the heatwave. The set lunch was pretty good value and the chicken was very nicely done though a tad on the dry side. The lobster pasta was a bit disappointing. The sauce was not as authentic as we hoped and the dish was just underwhelming in both taste and presentation, veering to saltiness instead of flavourfulness.
