I always visit the one in Soho, good to see one in Williamsburg. Kid friendly; they gave my daughter a puzzle, menu to color, and sticker game. Food is delicious and love the brunch options.
It’s a little on the loud side but that feels like most of the city nowadays. The food was nice and warm. It’s a nice menu meaning they have different options you just don’t see anywhere. Staff was nice. Recommend having reservations. Super cute place. Restrooms were clean which always extra points
Jack’s Wife Freda is always one of my favorite brunch spots. The atmosphere is really nice, with good music and a cozy vibe. I’m so happy the outdoor seating is back for the warmer days — it makes the experience even better. It’s definitely a great place for brunch, but I also like that they stay open through dinner. I ordered the zucchini fries as an appetizer, and they were so good — perfectly crunchy and served with a delicious sauce. I’ll definitely be ordering them again next time. For my main dish, I had the Prego Roll with French fries, which is my go-to whenever I eat here. The meat is cooked really well, tender, and flavorful, and the bread is also really good and fresh. I always enjoy coming here for brunch, sitting outside, and having a great meal. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.
The place is cute and the waiters are really nice.. but the pasta with meatballs was unfortunately giving ikea cafeteria. No matter the amount of salt I added, I couldn’t get a bit of flavor out of the sauce or the meat.
There was a small wait when we arrived, but we were welcomed to the bar. The service was top notch—really attentive and warm staff here. The food is just consistently comforting and delicious here. It’s our second time now and this particular spot might be a little Sunday routine for us from now on! What a gem in this neighborhood!
