Stopped by after midnight for a late dinner with a friend and had a great experience. We were seated without a reservation, which was a huge plus. The menu offers a wide variety of options, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable. If you're looking for a quality late-night spot in NYC, this place is definitely worth checking out.
Visited on a spontaneous Thursday evening. The service at the door was very welcoming. Felt like an energy you would get if you’re regular even though it was my first time. Heard about the fried chicken so definitely ordered that and it was spectacular. Also the pupu platter where you can crisp your appetizers. Plus the raw oysters that come in any number you want and a vodka dirty martini that was decent. I’ll be back!
We ordered a dozen oysters and BBQ pork spare ribs. Both were delicious. The ribs came with a little fire in case you want to crisp them up more which was cool but they were cooked perfectly and the sauce was great. We also ordered a ceaser salad and fries which never ended up making it to us after quite some time of the waiter not checking on us. Honestly, that was fine with us because the ribs filled us up. The music was a little too loud to hear the wait staff but overall the expirience was good.
Great late night restaurant when you want to grab dinner or drinks after midnight. The food is great, haven’t had a bad bite. Recommend the oysters and escargots traditional as the apps. Fried chicken was also great, especially at 1am. I personally prefer the appetizers and raw bar more than the main courses but you can’t go wrong with anything. Been there 2x so far and the highlight of the customer service was our waiter Von. He remembered us when we came back the second time and gave the same amazing and spectacular service. He’s patient when answering questions or giving recommendations and is so friendly and funny and accommodating.
Small high energy restaurant with a variety of food choices. Very crowded, loud and lively. Tartare was delicious. A very generous portion and the chips it was served with added a nice hit of salt. The marrow appetizer was also very good but would have preferred the bones to be split to make it easier to get the marrow out. The oxtail marmalade was delicious. Fried chicken was one of the best we have had. True bone in chicken not tenders as so many restaurants do. Extremely crunchy outside, juicy inside and seasoned well. Short rib special was also very good. Very tender and juicy. Overall we enjoyed this restaurant but the negative was as soon as they were removing our appetizer plates they served the main course. Definitely not a relaxing meal as the courses were served so close together but if they had spaced it out this would have been a great experience. Was not aware that they are known for their fried chicken but after ordering it I can understand why. Our server, Von was a definite highlight. He was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and a so pleasant to speak to.
