⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been coming to Aurora for over two years and somehow it never stops surprising me. In a city where restaurants come and go, Aurora feels like a true neighborhood treasure 🫶🏼 They recently renovated the interior and I absolutely love the update. It feels more elegant and refined while still preserving the charm and character that made me fall in love with it in the first place. The garden is magical, with climbing ivy and small fruit trees that make you forget you’re in nyc for a moment. What truly sets Aurora apart, though, is the hospitality 💛 Every member of the team is welcoming, attentive and genuinely kind. The servers are knowledgeable, passionate about the menu and whenever there’s a special occasion, they always find a way to make it even more memorable. The food is a little trip to Italy. You can taste the freshness, craftsmanship and authenticity in every bite. The pasta is handmade, the ingredients are seasonal and the daily specials always give you a reason to come back. After years of dining here, I’ve never had a disappointing meal ❣️ If you’re visiting for the first time, my recommendations are: ✨Start with the arancini and the prosciutto & burrata, then, if there’s a pasta on the specials, don’t think twice. Pair it with the steak cooked medium rare and thank me later. I also love the tuna crudo, the steak tartare and their focaccia bread✨ For dessert, the dark chocolate cake is incredible. Or end the evening with a scoop from their gelato cart outside. I’ve even attended weddings at Aurora, and they were unforgettable. The space transforms into something straight out of a storybook, romantic, whimsical, and full of love 🤍 Aurora isn’t just one of my favorite restaurants. It’s my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn ❣️🍝 Thank you for so many beautiful memories🫶🏼✨
We were a party of four who went to the restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The reviews were great and we reserved a table for lunch. They were busy and not surprisingly the service was slow. Waitress was amazing but looks like they were short-staffed. We ordered Arancini and Octopus for Apps. We had a lager, Bloody Mary, Grand St and Coffee. All of them were tasty! Portion sizes of the apps were disappointing. Main course was Squid ink Cavatelli, Taglierini and French toast! They were excellent.
We visited on a rainy day and were seated in their covered garden, which was absolutely beautiful. Despite being full of large groups, the atmosphere was fantastic. The service from our server, Renata, was impeccable; she was so kind, attentive to our table, and gave us excellent recommendations. Food-wise, the Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious, and the pancakes were on another level.
We hosted a 50th birthday dinner for 15 people at Auora and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The planning process was seamless the team was incredibly flexible and accommodating, especially with allowing us to bring in florals and additional décor. They also created a customized prix-fixe menu for our group, which made it much easier to keep costs predictable while still offering a great dining experience for our guests. The food was excellent, the service was attentive and warm, and the overall atmosphere made the night feel really special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate!
What a beautiful experience at Aurora in Brooklyn. The pasta was absolutely spectacular , rich, perfectly balanced, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The risotto was equally impressive, creamy and refined, cooked to perfection. The kale salad was fantastic , fresh, vibrant, and beautifully prepared. And the dessert… the chocolate cake paired with their homemade ice cream was simply unforgettable. We also enjoyed a lovely selection of Italian wines that complemented every course beautifully. The cozy ambiance made the entire evening feel warm and intimate. A special thank you to Antonio for his attentive and gracious service , he made the evening even more special. Highly recommend for an authentic , innovative and elevated Italian dining experience in Brooklyn.
