Amazing! Overall, this location was a really authentic experience. Although not required reservations are recommended.The service was exceptional. The waiters were extremely attentive, very professional and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. The steaks were perfectly made flavorful and tender as expected from a steakhouse. In fact, It was so good that this is easily one of my top 3 steakhouses in new york. This location has an incredible ambiance. Very classy. I will be revisiting this place in the future. I highly recommend visiting this establishment!
I visited this place to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I wasn’t expecting much, but everything turned out to be fantastic. Their bacon and calamari are simply the best! And their steak is equally impressive!
Though I’ve been in this neighborhood 40+ years and this place has been here for 16yrs or so - this week I finally set a date to visit and came with my significant other to enjoy a birthday. The space is super tight. From the tight squeeze entrance into the dining room. We were sat at a deuce right next to the bar. Literally. I think there was perhaps 4’ between a row of tables and the bar, where all the restaurant traffic passed and we were in the loop with every drink the servers ordered from the bartender. We ordered a dozen oysters, scallops with avocado mashed potatoes, and a porter house for two. Sides were lobster Mac, creamed spinach, and baked potato. Everything was really delicious. I thought the avocado mashed potatoes was a little strange though tasty … probably my least favorite moment of the meal. We also had an IPA, sapphire dirty martini with a blue cheese stuffed olive, and was happy to know they offered mocktails, so I ordered a strawberry mojito. The drinks were tasty m, though for the price and place, I expected more visual appeal. Which leads me to say for the price point (2pp- $450) and the steak house vibe - I wouldn’t return. I’m glad I tried it but they pushed food around in bus tub carts instead of girardon carts, same bus tub carts they bussed tables with. The servers and staff were very attentive, it just all felt rushed and chaotic- mostly because of the tight space and everyone rushing by.
Great restaurant. Food and service were excellent. Our server Beata was outstanding. She was very friendly, funny and extremely competent at her job. She made us very comfortable and also helped us decide on what to order. Overall food and ambiance exceeded all our expectations.
(4.8 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) had dinner here on Sunday night & it was delicious. The steak was very good; their starters and sides as well. My only dislike of the night was that we were too close to the table next to us. They were busy however, i think every table/party should have some sort of privacy or space and not be so on top of each other. The service was good. Could’ve been a bit more attentive to both of us on the table. The waiter was way more attentive to myself as supposed to who i came with. Overall, good steak house. Good eats and food. We got 2 cocktails, 2 beers, 3 starters, the porterhouse for 2, 3 sides, and the cheesecake. Total came out to $400 including tip for both of us.
