Food was amazing! We had meetings in the area and needed to grab a quick bite. We'll, we will make it a point to come back. Leo, our server, was simply a delight. We hi estoy felt like he should just have a drink with us! He was kind, very entertaining, and impressively knowledgeable! He brought us a sample of his favorite beer that was so good, we had to order one as well! He truly went the extra mile and while the food was great, he is a big part of why we will be coming back. Thank you Leo for making what was supposed to be a quick bite, into a fine dining experience!
Following my Mother's Day tradition for the last five years, I took myself to a matinee show (The Fear of 13) and brunch or dinner. This 2026 day, I chose dinner at a spot within walking distance of the James Earl Jones theatre and a seemingly interesting selection. I arrived and it was surprisingly empty. A few tables in the back, a group of adults drinking and chatting with kids (@ the bar, 🤷🏽♀️pourquoi?) and the Knicks game 4 on over the bar, so naturally I sat to watch the end of the demolition. The french bartender was a bit standoffish (not a good trait for a bartender) and disinterested. Providing me with the basics. Anteways. I ordered a classic old-fashioned with Toki, a Japanese whiskey. Clearly not ordered often because the bottle was on a high shelf, that she still had to tippy toe just to assess the reach (not smart idea), before finally got the rolling ladder, built just for reaching, the reserve alcohol. I had one drink, then ordered Chicken Samosas for a starter, asked said bartender for recommendation regarding the burger (cause I wanted short ribs, just not $45 worth) vs pasta. She said her preference of the French Onion Soup Burger, but I'm not a fan, so I ordered the Lamb burger which she stated, "alot of people like it". It came with fries and I ordered Charred Broccolini as my veggies. Unfortunately, no impactful seasoning on the meat and the broccolini was not charred. The best part of my meal was the french fries, the samosas and the last 5mins of the Knicks sweeping Philly! In my attempt to say "I tried it" for the food/atmosphere, I ordered a second old-fashioned, (after first bartender stepped away) and just chilled as it t'waz drizzling outside and the local news was coming on.
Cutest spot near Rockefeller Center to hang out. Definitely reserve ahead of time! It was super busy and we were thankful we had already booked. Atmosphere is so nice. Dimly lit and variety of seating options. Food & drinks were very tasty! Gluten free options available. Tacos 10/10
A girlfriend took me to the Elgin for a late birthday lunch. WOW! Food was so good! 😊 I had the French onion burger 🍔. Amazing. Then dessert we had the chocolate chip cookies skillet with vanilla ice cream and Fruity Pebbles 😋.YUM! Can't wait to find a reason to go back. Staff was so friendly and professional. Great place!
Overall it was a nice meal! The cheeseburger egg roll was my absolute favorite followed by the duck bao buns ! The tuna nachos were also decent. Pasta was a little bit too al dente but I took the rest to go and it was actually delicious the next day! As far as the French onion burger, it was decent as well. Our waitress was superb and the bar itself has a nice vibe. Would definitely come back again!
