The baba ganoush alone was worth the return trip — that smoky, grilled depth is simply unmatched. The lamb kofta was cooked to absolute perfection, and the Palestinian chicken stole the show with its incredible complexity of flavor and beautiful variety of textures. An unforgettable meal. Oscar - such a sweet server.

Absolutely delicious and unique! Bowery Bungalow offered everything from beets with hummus to elote corn to spiced potatoes and kebabs. Our waiter Oscar could not have been friendlier. Definitely recommend!
Came here for a friend’s birthday with a party of 16 guests. The ambiance is cozy and cute but I personally thought it was way too dark for a restaurant. I could barely see what I was eating. I understand if it was a bar but it’s a full blown restaurant. The service was just okay. It took so long for our drinks to get to our table even though the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrive and a lot of us just got beers… I felt like our waitress was either serving the whole restaurant in areas where I couldn’t see or particularly slow in our section. Oscar the manager, was a bit pushy. We asked how big the portions were since we read online that it’s best to eat family style here but the pictures looked like each dish was pretty small. He just kept saying we should just get a lot of things and share so we don’t only try 1 thing… That is not what we asked! Lol. My side of the table ended up getting: Mexican corn: 9/10 - really good flavors but you can’t really mess this up Hummus: 8/10 - same here Flatbread with egg: 6/10 - basic, nothing out of the ordinary Steak: 10/10 - it was seasoned and cooked perfectly, rested on top of mashed potatoes served with green beans Chicken parm + mozz sticks: 9/10 - it was very good, nice and light breading (2) Turmeric fried rice: 7/10 - pretty basic nothing out of the ordinary Ribs: 6/10 - not a lot of meat on the bone and seemed overcooked? flavor was basic Overall, I thought the food was pretty decent but the service could have been better - I expected if you have a big table, you would be more attentive! Felt like we had to flag them down for their attention
