I stopped by for some oysters and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, drinks, and service. I could eat multiple orders of their spring rolls. The service was fast and attentive. The lychee martini was strong and I'm not complaining. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend.
One of my favorite restaurants in the city, and I honestly consider myself lucky to have found it. It’s easy to walk right past because it’s not very noticeable from the outside, but once you step in, you realize it’s an absolute gem. The food is phenomenal and full of flavor. My personal favorites are Yuzu Pepper Shrimp, and the Salmon Sashimi Crisp - I keep thinking about them long after I’ve left. If you’re getting a cocktail, don’t skip the Spicy Palawan . It’s one of my favorites. They also have an excellent happy hour with great food and drink specials, which makes it an even better value. The staff is always incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s one of those restaurants you’ll keep coming back to.

The cocktails are the best(Spicy Palawan!!!). If you’re a seafood lover, the raw bar is a must-try—everything is incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff is welcoming, the service is excellent. The overall vibe keeps me coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great drinks, amazing food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Had a fantastic quick stop at Ama Raw Bar in the West Village, honestly exceeded expectations. Luis took great care of us, friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. The food was excellent, especially for pescatarian options. The yellowtail was super fresh and flavorful, and the spicy Palawan cocktail genuinely brought me back to life after a long day walking through the city. The mushroom bao was a standout, crispy, umami-packed, with a touch of sweetness that really worked. Also loved the wild mushroom fried rice, simple but done right. The lobster with miso butter was rich and satisfying, and the ice cream at the end was absolutely to die for. On top of all that, the prices were surprisingly reasonable for a Sunday in the West Village. Feels like a great local spot whether you live nearby or are just visiting. Will definitely be back.
