I am so ABSOLUTELY THRILLED with the service I received at Joseph’s. Thank you so very much to all the chefs & waiters! Hands down some of the finest culinary work I’ve seen. Let me paint the picture: We had a huge group of people with us for a presentation. After our appetizers right when people got a tad impatient for their dinner plates: boom! The kitchen doors swing open and out comes a sea of hands carrying all the plates. Everyone was so excited. The plates were piping hot. I had the mushroom ravioli, it was the best mushroom ravioli I ever had in my life. I tried the veal also & that was the best veal I’ve ever had in my life so tender cooked to perfection. Very generous portions. Thank you to all at Joseph’s your dedication & hard work does not go unnoticed. There was a lot of people all at once to fed at the same time while making sure everything was hot and the chefs did an amazing job. I am truly grateful for the service & experience. I hope to be back soon.
went here with family for dinner and honestly had a really nice time. the place has a comfortable old-school feel and the staff made us feel welcome right away. food was excellent, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. i ordered a seafood dish and was surprised by how well it was prepared. service was attentive without being over the top, and drinks stayed filled the whole time. prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. nothing felt rushed and the whole experience was just easy and enjoyable. definitely one of those places i'd happily return to.
Atmosphere was great. Food was very average. Hanger steak looked like it was going to be amazing— medium rare cook but the fat was still hard (maybe sitting in the window too long?). Orzo was bland and disappointing. Asked if the cannoli was made fresh — server confirmed it was made fresh but not in house. Figured okay we’ll try it out. Maybe the filling was piped in fresh and that’s what he meant bc the cannoli shells tasted like the kind an at home cook could buy at the store to fill themselves. The olives were good and the burrata and calamari were the highlights of the meal. Do not skip those.
Food was perfectly prepared, flavorful, fresh. Service was helpful, quietly attentive and very well executed. Beautiful restaurant. We ate at Joseph's the afternoon before Thanksgiving, and we enjoyed seeing the owner sitting down with the whole staff to enjoy a team pre-Thanksgiving meal together. A staff well cared for does a better job.
