Incredible seafood and selections. Gabriel is super friendly, hospitable, and helpful when ordering. The seafood is freshly delivered every morning and the chef Juan is top notch. My wife and I ordered the fennel avocado salad and pesce pasta. Massive portions and a huge array of seafood in my pasta. It was one of our favorite seafood meals. Must try if you are in the area!
The fish tacos and mahi grilled sandwich is sooo good! Highly recommend the Cajun salmon burger, shrimp skewers were perfect and their happy hour is so affordable. Definitely check them out. The space is gorgeous too!
Found Pesce Lulu tucked inside The Hugh and honestly, it felt like discovering a secret level in a video game. We even walked five blocks to find it, which in Manhattan walking terms means the food had better be good. Good news: it was VERY good. The owner, Jeffery, was incredibly hospitable and clearly passionate about the food. He happily shared where the ingredients were sourced from, explained the dishes, and talked about the sauces they make in-house. It was like dinner and a mini food documentary at the same time. The salmon was easily the best I’ve had — sourced from Patagonia and cooked perfectly. If salmon had a hall of fame, this one deserves a plaque. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtful, and clearly made by people who actually care about food (a refreshing concept these days). Overall, an extremely enjoyable dinner and absolutely worth the five-block adventure to find this place in The Hugh. Would happily walk five more blocks for that salmon again.
Found this place on google maps when I searched for ‘seafood’. Had to walk 5 blocks to get here but worth every step. Excellent quality wild mahi mahi and salmon. Mushroom croquettes were amazing too! Very good service and Jeff the boss man was a pleasure to talk to. Will revisit when in NYC again.
