Hands down, on July 16, 2026, we had one of the best dinners we’ve ever had. Delicious marinara sauce, family style (huge) portions, fresh innovative beet salad, fresh berry and lemon sorbet dessert, best cappuccino!! Dinner came with entertainment too. Twice during our meal, a talented waiter broke out singing familiar Italian opera tunes on a handheld player and microphone. The clientele went wild and whipped their napkins in the air. I felt I was in the Sopranos or Godfather I (the wedding scene).
Tony’s Di Napoli is a great spot for a classic Italian meal, especially with a group. Located in the heart of Times Square —close to broadway theaters, it’s an easy & convenient place to meet. The family-style menu is perfect for sharing, with generous portions & delicious Italian favorites. Friendly, attentive service & a lively atmosphere made for an excellent dining experience. We’d definitely return.
It’s truly delicious and healthy Italian cuisine. Three of us ordered two dishes, but the portions were so generous that we were full and even had leftovers to take home. The waiter was friendly, the food was tasty, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I’d love to come back next time I’m in Manhattan.
We came as a party of five with reservation before a Broadway show with 1 hr to eat. It was just about right! We ordered Stuffed mushroom, Calamari fritti, Linguini w shrimp Luciano , Whole branzino, Chicken special. The appetizer calamari was good. Branzino was amazing. Chicken and linguini was so so, probably wouldn’t get again. Good spot for family, does get a bit rowdy and noisy.
Very nice New York Italian atmosphere! There was some excellent singing! The staff made us feel very special and took care of us the whole time. Portions are big, we shared three and ordered a great red wine. We did not finish them so we were able to take them away! Great quality! Visited in November 2025
