Had a wonderful dining experience at Jiang Nan! The food was incredibly flavorful, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The food also came out surprisingly fast. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The atmosphere was beautiful, with elegant Chinese-inspired decor that created a warm and authentic dining experience.
PHENOMENAL, phenomenal, phenomenal!!! From the second we walked in we received awesome service. We were sat immediately with drinks. We ordered duck rolls, I’m not a duck person but it was good. We almost ordered Braised beef short ribs, chicken w/rum and garlic sauce (a must try), soy braised beef brisket w/potatoes, also another pleaser! You won’t regret this place! Good clean eating!
We were immediately seated the day before for the 4th of July. We ordered the duck spring rolls and they were cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. I also ordered the chicken and rum with garlic sauce. We also ordered he soy braised beef brisket with potatoes. We also ordered braised beef short ribs with gravy. Everything came out super fast and easy freshly cooked with the perfect amount of flavor. We got tiramisu for dessert.
The spicy crispy chicken was super addictive — crispy on the outside, tender inside, with just the right balance of chili and Sichuan peppercorn. The pickled fish soup was rich and flavorful, with a clean sourness (not artificial at all), and the fish was fresh and not fishy. Portion size was also generous. The noodles looked simple but were surprisingly good — well-seasoned with minced meat and sauce, and honestly hard to stop eating. Overall, the flavors feel quite authentic compared to what you usually find in NYC. Service was smooth and nothing to complain about. Would definitely come back and bring friends.
Heard great things about this place and their Peking duck and finally decided to come. We came during lunch time and the place wasn’t too busy. The interior was nice and they had iPads for ordering which was convenient. The service on the other hand needs work. We ordered multiple dishes and the food was dropped off at the table, besides that no staff checked in on us afterwards. The food was ok, the duck wasn’t the highlight of the dishes we had, but the tofu and the shrimp was pretty good. The cauliflower was also nicely made.
