Hmmm…. I will come back after I have eaten here and give further feedback but my first impression when greeted by the greeter into a totally empty dining room was “you are almost an hour early for your reservation - I can’t seat you” sit at the bar. I have but…. It’s annoying when it’s noisy and not what I want to do. The customer is usually catered to when it’s no skin off their back - but either this hostess or the establishment is clueless. I’ll be back again if they fix it but otherwise, not impressed. Update! She came over and apologized and then we had an amazing meal see the pics. Jazz was great too! Highly recommend the pancakes now
We shared the bone in Ribeye, half chicken, Scallops, broccolini, roasted potatoes. Everything tasted fantastic, including the pretzel bread, probably one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I believe when paying what we have to pay to eat out, it should tasted better than we could make at home. This place didn't disappoint. Where I am from in Oregon, my water tastes fresh, always, and I am quit picky about it, they had bottled water that was greatly appreciated. Server was prompt and attentive. If I am ever in NYC again, I will return. Definitely check it out, you will not be disappointed.
I’m not sure what happened could’ve been the time we arrived which was at 1030pm I was told the kitchen was closing at 11pm. I’ve had better. This is my second time the first time was take out and I ordered lamb chops steak creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes it was good. This time the food wasn’t good the branzino wasn’t what I expected. Empire steak house is completely my favorite and better. The fingerling potatoes was too garlicky no flavor little cheese. Our last time coming back. The Caesar salad had a lemon taste to it different from other restaurants I’ve been to. The waiter wasn’t too interactive with us. They given two pieces of bread to the table which we had to wait 20 minutes for. I’m disappointed highly disappointed.
Great place! Food was perfect, staff is friendly and attentive (what you hope and expect) ordered fillet mignon with side of mushrooms and I loved it had a Cabernet with it. I was in a great place. Partner ordered NYStrip with lobster and he devoured it. We will definitely come again. We made a reservation but came an hour earlier and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Saw several families with kids. Dim environment. Romantic. Feels luxurious. Will be back!
My husband and I celebrated our birthdays recently at the restaurant. Every dish we ordered was impeccable. The creamed spinach and crispy onion string sides were amazing! The steak and halibut with beet risotto were unbelievable too! Very attentive waiter and classy atmosphere.
