The Beef Wellington was exceptional—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this brunch spot in the West Village. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The interior is beautiful and stylish, and even the champagne was excellent. The asparagus, shakshuka, carbonara, and honey cardamom toast were all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The only small downside was that the food took a little longer than expected to come out, and the carbonara was slightly cold when it arrived. Other than that, everything about this place made for a wonderful brunch experience.
Service was relaxed, in a good way. I didn’t have the prefix, it didn’t have the things I wanted to try. The table next to me did have it and it looked good. I had the rigatoni carbonara and it was delicious. The oysters were amazing. And the cardamom honey toast with pineapple marmalade was the best French toast I ever had. The room is beautiful and staff friendly. I would have loved to be offered some fresh parmigiana and pepper for my pasta. The cocktails were great too. I found the service a little inattentive. Our water glasses were never refilled. The tables around us were receiving good service so I’m not sure what was going on.
Sometimes Valentine’s Day is also like a capitalism trap because it’s fancy but not actually good. We celebrated our first valentine at Noortwyck and it’s beyond perfect. The chicken liver is actually my favorite. I think it’s even better than a lot of Foie gras. With the cube toast is the best, even the toast itself can be a dish, for sure. Beef Wellington is so cute. Really like the strong mushroom sauce. I wish it could have a veges side not just potato haha The pork chop is actually surprising because it’s a bit like Asian flavor, spicy and sour. We loved it We will come back for the chicken liver and toast, for sure We posted on ins @bloodybigmouth, check us for more cute nyc restaurants
