Absolutely incredible! The tacos were fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was clean, the service was excellent, and every bite was delicious. If you’re in New York, you have to try this place. Highly recommended! 🌮❤️
Los Tacos No. 1 is really good and definitely worth trying at least once. I’ve had tacos that I personally liked more, but this place still delivers fresh, flavorful food that’s easy to enjoy. It’s not the cheapest taco spot around, but I think the quality justifies the price. Plus, it’s only a short walk from Times Square, making it a convenient stop if you’re exploring the area.
Stopped by Los Tacos No. 1 at Grand Central for lunch, and it absolutely lived shortcuts or compromises. There was a long 20-minute queue when I arrived, but don't let that deter you—the line moves fast, and it is 100% worth the wait! The ordering process is super efficient. You choose your style and your tortilla (they offer both excellent corn and flour options). I ordered the Pollo Asado (grilled chicken) and the Adobada (marinated pork) tacos, paired with one of their refreshing Aguas Frescas to drink. The taste was amazing. The Pollo Asado was perfectly grilled, and the Adobada had the most incredible flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, authentic, and satisfying. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for a top-tier lunch spot. I will definitely be back!
Although it may seem like there aren’t many options at first, it’s actually quite customizable, which is helpful for first-time visitors. After telling the cashier how many tacos and quesadillas you’d like, you’ll be asked two additional questions while your order is being prepared: 1. Corn or flour tortilla? 2. Topping choice: guacamole, salsa, or onions. If you’re visiting New York, this place is definitely worth a stop. The lines can get very long, but they move surprisingly fast. As for drinks, I’d recommend trying the Mexican soda—it’s really good.
If you're starving, this may not be the best place simply because the line is lengthy. Expect to wait 30+ minutes standing in a line outside the restaurant. The wait is absolutely worth every bite! Er'thing, and I do mean, Er'thang is delicious. The Agua frescas are really good as well. Highly recommend going. If you're lucky to find table corner inside the restaurant, you'll enjoy eating standing up.
