We went here for an early dinner after going to some art galleries in the Lower east side area. We ended up sitting inside and it was very pleasant and the food was delicious. They also have an outdoor seating area and people were watching FIFA on a large screen TV. We chatted with the owner Nicholas who is absolutely adorable.
We stumbled upon this gem otw elsewhere this afternoon …. And we stayed for hours! What a great find. Nicholas and Blaise - the most awesome guys you can meet while day drinking. Beautiful interior. We will definitely be back for dinner and more drinks. Just go if you want awesome service, great conversations and just a great time!
The owner sets the tone, the whole crew picks up the vibe, the chef creates delicious meals, you just sit, chill, enjoy good music, good food and good company, have a freakin good time and carry on until you come back for more. We need more restaurants like this and more people like you, thanks again Nicky
I came to Early Terrible really excited to try it, but the experience didn’t quite land. The pacing was extremely slow, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small. At one point, two button mushrooms for a table of three. The martinis were also off. Both the house martini and a twist version leaned overly briny, and they were served in plastic martini glasses, which don’t retain cold well. As a result, the drinks warmed up quickly, which made the alcohol and brine more pronounced and threw off the balance. To be fair, the staff were kind and doing their best. This felt more like an execution issue than a service one. There’s definitely potential, but between the pacing, portions, and drink execution, it didn’t meet expectations.
Hosted a birthday dinner for my 30th here last week. From the moment I messaged the event planner to stepping inside the restaurant for the night was amazing. Bianca was truly amazing to communicate with and made everything what I wanted perfect. Everyone and the owner Nick were amazing. Food was so so delicious. Cocktails amazing! Can’t recommend this place enough! Will deff be back soon!
