Just a perfect Tribeca dining experience tonight.. I've only come for cocktails, I was missing out. Outstanding food- super recommend the zucchini flowers- and really warm personal service. We ate at the bar tonight and had the best time with other guests and the bartenders, literally writing this as we are pretty much closing the place 😆 Thank you Raul, Rie, Orchid! Great dinner and great hangout
I almost don’t want to write a review because I want to keep this restaurant to myself! It was such a pleasant surprise coming here. The service, food, ambiance are all amazing. So much better than a lot of the trendy restaurants you see on the social media these days… Don’t skip the crisps and panzanella and the zucchini pasta !! And shoutout to the lovely manager Raul who made this place so special. Easily became an nyc staple for me.
Great restaurant in Tribeca, everything was great, food delicious, service very friendly and good, and a beautiful clean ambiance! Totally recommend it! Diners like this restaurant's delicious and authentic Italian food, especially the fresh pasta dishes like pappardelle lamb ragu and bolognese, and the veal chop. They also highlight the cozy, intimate, and energetic atmosphere, with some mentioning live music. Guests mention the exceptional and attentive service from the friendly staff, including knowledgeable bartenders.
As we were roaming around the city, we stumbled upon this great place. My husband loves Italian and he was none disappointed. Kenny was our waiter and he was very professional and knowledge. Wonderful personality who definitely deserves a shout out! Hope to go back again soon
From the moment we walked in, Raul set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. He was genuinely warm, attentive without being overbearing, and clearly takes pride in what he does. It’s rare to come across a manager who strikes that balance so effortlessly. His recommendations were thoughtful and, more importantly, absolutely spot on. He really knows the menu inside and out! As for the food, every single dish exceeded expectations. The roasted root vegetables deserve special mention: they were perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and honestly one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal ends. It’s not something you’d expect to stand out, but it completely did. The pastas were just as impressive. Each dish tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned without feeling heavy. You could tell there was real care put into every plate. We kept saying we’d slow down, but it was impossible, everything was too good. All around, this was one of those meals where everything comes together: great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Raul truly elevated the experience, and the kitchen backed it up in every way. We’ll absolutely be back.
