If you know authentic Italian cuisine, skip this place. The food is simply not up to standard. The carbonara was completely wrong: the pasta was not al dente, the fat was dry and tasteless, and the emulsion was bitter and sour. Failing like this on a classic dish shows a total lack of culinary execution. The interior design is nice, and the service was professional. My waitress handled my feedback well and offered complimentary drinks and dessert, which I appreciated. But good service doesn't fix bad food. I cannot recommend eating here.
Kind of mad it took us as long as it did to finally come here even though it’s been a block away for over a year. Food and service were spectacular, prices were reasonable(especially for Italian food which is always over priced and never worth it). We got the pappardelle and alle vongole, with two glasses of wine and tiramisu for dessert, all were delicious. We will be back
Had an amazing experience at La Voglia Italian Restaurant! The zucchini parmigiana made by Chef Antonio was absolutely the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Chef Antonio clearly knows what he’s doing, and it shows in the dish. The overall atmosphere and service were great as well. Definitely a must-try if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine!
We had an AMAZING TIME!! All staff was friendly, we had a great friendly talking. To eat we had red snapper, cockatiel shrimp, pizza and a chocolate cake as a dessert, Simply loved the whole experience tonight! Definitely coming back
My favorite restauraunt on the upper east side. The staff is beautiful and well mannered. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. The food is great. I love their lamb chops. It is my go to when I am here. The desert menu is impeccable. The music is relaxing as well. Perfect volume. Very classy dining. There is a lovely Italian waitress who works in the afternoon that I do adore! She is perfecto and always has nice nails and a great attitude. 10 out of 10
