First time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed the experience! It’s a beautifully designed spot, and the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. They have kangaroo on the menu, but we opted for something more classic. My brick pressed chicken was spot-on, and my husband loved the flavor of his curry cod (even if the sauce was a little overwhelming). For dessert, the sticky date pudding was delicious, just a bit heavy on the butterscotch sauce. Minor sauce notes aside, the food quality and atmosphere were great.
Great place and amazing service! I love the burgers but kangaroo skewers weren’t really my thing. They were very tender tho. And don’t sleep on their latte! They got plenty of seating and it was pretty quiet in there. Will be back for sure!
Loved every single bit of it. Cocktails, amazing food, everything absolutely delicious. Everything comes with a twist, but the kind that you hope for.
We love this place so much we want to book a room upstairs and not leave so we can eat here in the morning. But jk can’t so we Are coming back tomorrow afternoon. We each had the kangaroo skewers, steak, Caesar salad, squid and Mac and cheese. The food was phenomenal and the waitress is friendly and professional. Every dish we ordered was top notch and we made the mistake of ordering dessert because my tiramisu was so huge. Now I have food coma and don’t want to leave. How will I get home? Why did my tiramisu taste so heavenly? The fries that came with my steak were also super crispy… I usually don’t eat fries but I downed all my fries today. Don’t come here with tight pants if you’re goin to order the tiramisu because I can’t breathe. I usually don’t overeat especially carbs …. But I messed up tonight. Love the atmosphere, love the Roo and love this place. Thank you so much. See you tomorrow.
We got so excited by the menu and wanted to try everything! The lamb shoulder was a stand out for me though… tender and tasty! Also loved the brussel sprouts and the beet and farro salad was super fresh and flavorful. Also loved to ice cream and olive oil sundae! Yum! Beautiful decor with a great ambience and attentive staff too, but the food was the real stand out for me! Will definitely be back!
