Drove in from Toronto, Canada for a weekend in New York City. Decided to try this place for dinner. I was not disappointed. From the moment you enter the atmosphere sets a wonderful, calming tone. We were seated almost immediately on a Saturday night. The waiting staff was very accommodating for food allergies. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. The food was excellent. I don’t even like asparagus but the way they prepared the asparagus changed my opinion. Lovely char and great flavour. Barely any wait time from the moment we ordered our mains. I had a medium rare steak and my partner had sausage pappardelle. Both dishes cooked perfectly, pasta al dente and steak perfect temperature. Overall I would come back here just for the atmosphere and staff. The food just happens to be the cherry on top.

As an Italian, I found their food truly amazing. I have tasted different types of pasta dishes and then tagliata di manzo (beef steak) which was delicious. Service was great, the waiter has always been careful and checked with us if everything was fine. Intimate atmosphere.
Tucked in the corner of Gold street, this multi level restaurant does a good job of Italian dishes. Service was excellent and the steak was cooked as order, plus seasoned well and served on a bed of mini potatoes.
We had dinner and breakfast here since we were staying at the hotel. Almost everything was great. The steak was a little underwhelming. Make sure to get a reservation even for breakfast. Otherwise the wait could be 30 minutes or so.
