Absolutely amazing! A hidden gem right up from the DoubleTree Hotel! We had reservations for 2 and were seated on the rooftop. It was absolutely beautiful and we had a nice view of the cathedral. The atmosphere was perfect. A very nice intimate experience; no music blasting loudly, just the satisfying sounds of the night along with distinct chatter. It’s not loud, music is played a great tempo/volume where you can get that intimate dining experience. The stars of the show were the server experience and food! Servers were very attentive and immersed you into a world of interaction with the food—it should tell you that it will be amazing. The pastas and the filet mignon were DELICIOUS. The filet mignon being arguably affordable than your average expensive steakhouse … we were super impressed. Long story short, this place deserves all the love.
The atmosphere and the view are beautiful, and the restaurant is family-friendly. We visited with our 1-year-old baby and felt comfortable. The service was polite and attentive, although nothing particularly special. Prices are slightly above average, which would be fine if the food matched the quality. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the risotto, and it had a strong smell that made it difficult to enjoy. It was nothing like the risotto I’ve had in Italy. My husband ordered the chicken, and it also had an unpleasant smell, as if it had been cooked earlier and reheated rather than freshly prepared. We barely ate our meals and left most of the food on our plates. The staff kindly offered to pack it to go, but we declined because we didn’t want to take it with us. We came for the food, and sadly it did not meet our expectations. I wouldn’t return.
Anniversary date night after a matinee Broadway show. They filled our glasses to the rim with Prosecco. We had the Burrata appetizer - tasty and a good portion. We also enjoyed the Risotto Frutti Di Mare and Giardino Salad with grilled shrimp. Finished up with cappuccinos and panna cotta. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. We sat in the corner of the outside patio with nice views of Radio City Music Hall and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Nice romantic decor. Prices were reasonable for NYC and too notch quality - I plan on going back to try some of their other menu offerings. Highly recommend.
We visited this restaurant for my husband’s birthday, and after reading some negative reviews beforehand, I was honestly a little nervous. Thankfully, our experience was fantastic! The service was attentive from start to finish, and we had an amazing time. I ordered the ribeye, and it was absolutely divine—the seasoning was perfect. We started with the calamari, which was fresh, crispy, and delicious. For drinks, I had the Duomo 51 Fizz and the Lychee Martini, and both were refreshing and well-made. A special thank you to the manager, Roland, who was incredibly kind and helped make our visit even more enjoyable. We also had a great view, which made the evening even more memorable. The gratuity was already included in the bill, which was completely fine with us. Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner and would definitely come back!
Really just good for the views. You can see St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Radio City Music Hall sign, which is definitely the highlight of the experience. The food, unfortunately, wasn’t worth writing home about. The service was also a bit odd. Our waiter didn’t seem very engaged, and when he deboned my friend’s fish, there were still bones left behind. We also had an issue with the heater over our table not working, which wasn’t great considering we had just walked there in the cold rain. The truffle-focused menu also felt a bit underwhelming. It’s the kind of place where I’m not convinced the truffle would make much difference if it wasn’t there. Carbonara was disappointing. Overall, it felt off. I’m honestly surprised by the number of strong reviews. There are far better Italian options in New York.
