It has been such a long time that I haven’t enjoyed myself like today! And I must say, it’s so hard finding a place where food AND drinks are 10/10 andddd great customer service on top of that is so surreal. The ambiance and aesthetic were beautiful. The attention to detail 😍 Literally a dream. The food was delicious, the drinks were on point! I don’t usually post about restaurants but this was too good to keep a secret. Literally run, don’t walk!
The food here is incredible. The rice was absolutely awesome and packed full of amazing flavors. On top of that, the burger was mouth-watering and truly exquisite. You can see the great dishes we ordered in the attached images. Highly recommend Dolce Momento—food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch.
Beautiful restaurant right in the heart of lower east side! Some of the best octopus I've ever had. The aesthetic is super cool - it felt like I was on vacation. The house music they play is vibey, the food and drinks were delicious and the staff is so lovely.
We went to Dolce Momento on Friday night and sat at the bar. We got to meet the bartender/mixologist Jenny who was incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks and menu. We started with the Hamachi Tiradito, the pulpo al olivo (octopus) and the spicy tuna roll. Everything was exceptional. The hamachi (6 oz Yellowtail) is served with serrano, yellow aji gel, house citrus ponzu, & sesame oil, the spicy tuna roll was super fresh with sautéed carrots, cucumber, spicy bluefin tuna and creamy avocado, and the Pulpo Al Olivo may be one of the best things I ate in a long time - placed over an Emulsion botija olives (Peruvian style), fried capers, with flamed avocado. Then we shared the THAI FRIED RICE Cashews, Thai basil, scallions, eggs, house Thai sauce with added Chicken; the DOLCE STEAK a 10 oz Ribeye premium, homemade osaka sauce, mushrooms and onions, served with French fries and the TOSCANA TRUFFLE PASTA, a Shell pasta, oyster, cremini mushrooms, and parmesan cheese. Everything was unique and exceptional, with an element that made it unexpected like the cashews and crust Thai basil in the rice. The fries were outstanding! So we were stuffed but had to try dessert so we shared a DOLCE DESSERT which was a coffee flavored cheesecake crumble. Insane. I will go back to try the risotto that they were out of as well as the burger. Jenny gave us a shot of something served in snail shells dipped in tajin. So good! Just so you know, right now they serve wine and beer and sake style drinks. The drinks Jenny made were beautiful and you wouldn't know you were not drinking hard alcohol if you didn't see the ingredients on the drink menu. The place has a fun vibe with chill music. Plus it was only a 13 minute cab ride from the UES. Well worth the drive.
The food is excellent! I also loved the decor and the ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
