I asked them to make the evening special for my wife, and they were more than happy to oblige. We were sat directly in front of the kitchen, which was a gift for us because we had the opportunity to see the excellence and precision first-hand. The food was amazing. The steak was butter knife tender, and was perfectly complimented by the berbere hollandaise and the delectable cheesy fries. The pan seared black bass was a revelation, especially when paired with the sambal and eaten in a lettuce boat. The low point was the crab fried rice, and it was still an 8.5/10. The flavors just didn't pop with every bite, but when they did, it was a burst of perfection. The scallops was seasoned perfectly, and the sear was spot on. I can't say anything bad about this restaurant or our experience in it. The servers were attentive and nice, and really personable. I loved every bite and every moment.
A phenomenal dining experience from start to finish. This is a very interesting restaurant that masterfully blends Ethiopian and Swedish fusion. The space features a cool industrial vibe with great energy all around. The staff is top-notch, and our server, Helen, was excellent—attentive, professional, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the summer salad, the roasted chicken, and the peach mousse dessert. Every dish was perfectly executed. The cocktails and wine list were highly satisfying as well and paired beautifully with the meal. This place is a real gem and easily worth 5 stars. I will definitely be returning!
Are at the bar for dinner. The place was unfortunately empty, but it is a beautiful venue. Bartender was nice but not best service. The blue corn bread was amazing. As was the salmon starter - super tasty sauce and flavor. Biryani rice and rigatoni both great. The shrimp pieces in the rigatoni were so flavorful. All the food had a great spice and taste. Would love to go back when the place is happening, which I’m sure is most of the time.
This place is gorgeous and the vibe feels like you are sitting on a vineyard or in a fine dining restaurant by the sea. Came here for a friend's celebratory dinner. We ordered ahead which was the most wonderful thing. Food orders came out quickly. Jerk octopus and tuna credo were insanely good. The tuna was so fresh and perfect complemented with avocado puree and tamari flavoring. Many restaurants do this dish and I thought this one was a cut above. The jerk octopus skewer was well flavored and supremely tender. The sea bass and its complementary sauce hit the spot. I also tasted the cornbread (not as good as mine) and the salmon (which I may have liked even more than the bass). I also had collards that came with heaping chunks of sausage. I will be back. Even though the prices are quite high, the food was well, we'll worth it and paired with attentive kind service. The restauarant gorgeous and plenty of bathrooms. Great cocktails, too. I did not save room for dessert but really wish I could have.
Magnificent meal and immaculate setting. The menu was unforgettable and flavors were surprising plus curated to perfection. The service also replicated the love of the food, and I felt very cared for when our server Alexander took the time to carefully answer all our questions and even sent sparklers to our table with dessert as a celebration. From the moment we walked in, we were seated with smiles and staff came often to remove items from our table as well as clean our table which was very helpful and attentive. Ambience is top tier due to the mood lighting, artistic light fixtures and mermaid decor, and it gave private and elegant even as customers started gathering. Also want to highlight the gender neutral bathrooms. Fantastic, impeccable, marvelous. Thank you Alexander for welcoming my party into the experience.
