Celebrating the weekend away from D.C., we experienced FORGE- what an amazing culinary experience. Everything- was on point and what you expect from a NYC, and iron chef restaurant. Recommend the tomahawk, absolute perfection- service - wayyyyy above board (Andre) and the amazing hostess (from SC) was the cherry on top. Will be back again and again.
Forgione has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Manhattan. Every dish we tried was exceptional. The Spaghetti Verde with escargot was absolutely unbelievable—creative, flavorful, and unlike anything we've had before. The spicy oysters were outstanding and truly unique. The chicken wings were another surprise. Instead of the heavy, deep-fried wings you find at most places, these were light, delicate, incredibly moist, and packed with flavor. The white meat was tender, and the batter was so light you could barely tell it was there. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the hostess to the manager and everyone in between, the hospitality was remarkable. The vibe is energetic yet comfortable, making the entire experience memorable. We're incredibly lucky that this gem is only a five-minute walk from our home. Forgione is the kind of place that keeps you coming back, and we can't wait for our next visit.
An outstanding destination for savoring a rich and flavorful dish; made even better by beginning the evening with a cocktail at the bar. Flavor and presentation move in perfect harmony here, each executed to an equally high standard. The cuisine reflects quality and balance, anchored by a thoughtfully composed and appealing culinary concept. The wine list complements the menu with confidence, enhancing the overall experience. Staff is attentive, friendly and polished throughout. A place I would enthusiastically recommend.
I’ll be talking about this dinner for a while. We had an early 5:15 dinner here. The service was excellent and it was great vibes for couples as well as families. The Notkitori snack was so flavorful and perfectly cooked and the chili lobster that comes with the sesame seed buns for dipping was my favorite of all. I could have drank the rest of the sauce. We shared the chicken under a brick for our entree. It was delicious, and we went home with leftovers. Will be back!
Everything was so perfect. The breakfast before dinner concept with a mini bagel as pre-appetizer… The crunchyness of the bread for duck in a jar. The chewiness of the pasta. The ambiance. The service! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!
