The place was clean and quiet. The food was so delicious, wonderful flavors. The servers were exceptional and accommodating. Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and she had a great time. The appetizers were yummy but the entrées blew me away, sooo good.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Jesus was our server, and he did an amazing job—he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciate the hostess, who recommended that I have the Scotch bonnet sauce served on the side. That suggestion saved my meal, as the sauce was extremely spicy and would have made the dish inedible for me. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made for a great dining experience. I would definitely come back!
Made reservations for my girls and I to check off another place on our Foodie list and this place was great! Good service and food was delish! Nothing cheap so you will be spending some dollars 😜 I didn't get our server name but she was amazing! She recommended some choices from drinks to food and it was perfect! We left out for the bit and when we came back, the DJ was rocking out some good chunes as well lol. Ended our night just right. Definitely recommend this place and will check them out again
We came to celebrate my mother's 76th birthday and Continent Brooklyn made it so special. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with so much warmth — and that energy carried through the entire night. Our waiter Jah was absolutely amazing. Attentive, warm, welcoming, and so accommodating. She made my mom feel truly celebrated, and that meant everything to us. The food was great, as always! This place never disappoints in that department. The sweetest moment of the night was when the staff sang Happy Birthday to my mom. She loved every second of it. 🥹 I will say, the drinks this time around weren't quite as memorable as I remembered — I'd give them a solid 7 out of 10. Still enjoyable, just not as wow-worthy as before. Hoping they bounce back on that front next visit! Honestly, every single time I've visited this location, I've had nothing but great experiences. The customer service is top tier from start to finish — every person we interacted with brought good vibes and genuine hospitality. If you're looking for a spot that feeds your soul in more ways than one, Continent Brooklyn is it. Highly recommend! ❤️
From the moment we walked in, this Jamaican cuisine restaurant delivered an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—welcoming, vibrant, and full of life. The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely attentive without ever being overbearing. On top of that, the music was perfectly curated—exactly the kind of vibes my friends and I love, which made the entire evening feel even more special. Now let’s talk about the food. We ordered the oxtail fried rice, the oxtail lo mein, and the lamb chops—and every single dish exceeded expectations. The flavors were rich, perfectly seasoned, and clearly prepared with care and intention. Each bite somehow got better than the last. To say we were satisfied with our restaurant choice would be a massive understatement. The entire experience—from ambiance to service to food—was a solid 15/10. I don’t even live in NYC, but I’m already making plans to come back, preferably in warmer weather, just so I can experience this restaurant all over again. Absolutely worth it.
