Crossing Midtown, Central Park until you arrive at Ulysses S. Grant's resting place. The 18th President of the United States and a prominent Union general during the Civil War, is entombed in Grant's Tomb, officially known as the General Grant National Memorial. It is the largest mausoleum in North America. Next is world renowned Harlem. Learn about the ever-changing history of the neighborhood, including its Dutch origins, its notable inhabitants, and its status as the home of African-American music and culture. Visit historical spots such as Sugar Hill, the Morris-Jumel Mansion, and the famous Apollo Theater, where legendary musicians like Ella Fitzgerald and Sammy Davis Jr. made their debut. Not to forget world famous Cotton Club. It was a legendary jazz club in Harlem, that operated during the 1920s and 1930s. It was known for featuring many of the greatest African American entertainers of the era, including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and many others. You'll have the opportunity to take a picture in front of the club, often portrayed in movies, books, and songs, capturing its legendary essence. From Harlem we cross over to the Bronx a neighborhood made famous by none other than the New York Yankees. First stop the amazing Yankee Stadium.
