My daughter and I looked for some breakfast places in FiDi. I had ate at the pizzeria upstairs but not the deli. We decided on this deli because the menu was so full. A lot of the places in the area have some breakfast items but not a full menu. The food was fantastic. We were floored that the strawberry cream cheese had actual strawberries. Eggs were perfectly over medium. The potatoes reminded me of the ones my dad used to make when I was growing up! Such nostalgia! The place wasn’t super busy. We ordered, walked to register to pay, and food was ready. Great prices. The service was impeccable. Everyone was super friendly and personable. Made us feel like friends and not just customers. Well worth a visit for good food, great prices and friendly service!
This is a hidden gem in the financial district. The pizza shop upstairs is the real deal. Their slices are thin, crispy, and packed with flavor. They have great, doughy garlic knots too. Considering the location, prices are pretty reasonable as well.
Very surprised by how good the food is. One of the biggest à la carte menu I’ve ever seen, and by such a small kitchen. The spot has been a NYC staple since 1966. Now my go-to spot for a healthy and delicious meal that hit the spot that won’t break the bank.
Grabbed a proper NYC deli breakfast whilst exploring lower manhattan, steak and eggs was great. Staff were great, wonderful friendly service. Cheap and easy setup for good value quick food not a premium dining experience.
Service was super quick to take our order and get us out our sandwhiches. Menu was hard to read since there was so many items on it, but Google reviews directed me to the pastrami — this was very good. Italian was also good ! Atmosphere was very much an nyc deli, but cleaner than most.
