We all enjoyed our lunch! Food was outstanding! The lunch special was a great deal! Better priced than our Thai place back home in rural Illinois.
My friends and I came across this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try — and it definitely did not disappoint. Since it was a weekend evening and we didn’t have a reservation, we had to wait a little while to be seated. But from the moment we walked in, we felt incredibly welcomed. The servers were warm and attentive throughout the entire meal, taking great care of us and explaining the menu in detail. Every dish we ordered was delicious, especially the Pad Thai and the pork chop. The cocktails were also very unique and flavorful. The interior design is beautiful as well, with a large bar area and TVs showing the World Cup live, so we could enjoy great food while watching an exciting match. We truly enjoyed this wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back!
Very vegan-friendly Thai restaurant! Our server was super clear about what was vegan and what was not, and we ended up with a delicious selection of tofu pad thai, tofu yellow curry, chive pancakes, and spring rolls, all of which were amazing. The yellow curry was super flavorful, and the pad thai was less so, so putting them together was actually fantastic. I'd recommend getting a reservation here beforehand, although we just walked in and they were able to find a table for two without any wait time on a Wednesday early in the evening.
I recently dined at Hey Thai and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I began with the chicken satay appetizer, which was flavorful and perfectly prepared. For my main course, I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce from the wok section of the menu—another excellent choice, full of rich taste and cooked just right. The restaurant had a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The service was also outstanding—attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout the visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Thai food in the Financial District.
