The seafood was fresh and overall the food was enjoyable. However, many of the dishes felt very similar in seasoning and flavor profile, which made the meal less memorable than expected. While the quality was decent, the prices seemed difficult to justify for what was offered. Not a bad experience, but the overall value for money was disappointing.
Upscale seafood restaurant! Great food. Everything we ordered was good but the seafood rice was the standout. Clean and elevated ambience with cute wall art. Service was good too. Would love to come back!
Tried Crevette for the first time and was seriously impressed. Such a fresh, creative take on seafood. The space is beautiful (light, airy, very “coastal Europe”) and the service was excellent from start to finish. You absolutely cannot miss the Bluefin Tuna with guindilla pepper & crispy potato, the fried cod cheeks with aioli & jamón ibérico, and the peekytoe crab agnolotti with tomato & guanciale. The fried cod cheeks in particular were unreal - the cook on them was the best battered fish we’ve ever had, so delicate and perfectly done. Highly recommend and already looking forward to going back.
I found Crevette when looking up new lunch spots near SoHo and I am very glad that I stumbled upon this place. They serve upscale French cuisine but the space did not feel overly formal during the day. I can see how it might be more upscale at night though. We started with a Merguez & Morcilla Skewer and two pieces of Bluefin Tuna. Both were delicious (perhaps the best part of the meal). The Morcilla was so good that we ended up getting a second one. Next, we split the Grilled Cabbage, Chickpea, and Jamón Ibérico salad and the Grilled Chicken w Fries. Both were really good. It was nothing too inventive but both dishes were done really really well! The fries were cooked perfectly and the chicken was delicious. We left feeling full, but not too full. Honestly, I hope to go back. There were so many things on the menu that looked good. Definitely try this place. Either for date night or a weekend lunch with friends!
