Tbh I wasn't really expecting much coming in, we ended up eating here just cos most places in the area were closing for dinner. But the food was excellent!! I liked the lemony garlicky sauce the fish fillet came in and I thought it was grilled perfectly. My bf's steak though was the standout for me and will definitely be coming back for it. Overall the food and vibe were very homey and the staff were friendly too! We were feeling a bit rushed cos it was nearing closing time but the server said we could take our time to finish. I don't normally go for this cuisine tbh but I highly recommend and will be returning!
We walked past this restaurant and knew we had to try it. The food was amazing and the service was great. It felt like eating at a family members home. Great food and kind people will definitely be back!
On our trip to NY to attend our daughter's graduation, from the subway walk to our daughter apartment, we always passed by this little restaurant and we wanted to try many times, until the day we leave for the airport. Instead of getting overpriced foods at the airport, I walked to this place to get some sandwiches for the flight. The restaurant is small but quite clean, not a full service restaurant, but the servers (family) are very attentive and pleasant. There are quite a few dishes on the menu, I always like Cuban foods, especially sandwitches. The prices are so reasonable for NY. I ordered 2 sandwiches to go, and amazingly, they're so good while we're waiting to board the plane. The sandwiches are big and full of meats, very tasty and filling indeed. On our next visit to NY, definitely will sit down and order something different from sandwiches.
We came here on a cold monday night and the sancocho was warm and inviting. Exactly enough food for 2 hungry girls. Emily made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. Also really appreciate the buzzer-bathroom system 😂
They have a very affordable Lunch Special that runs all day for only $9! They accept all types of payment but I always use cash to support local businesses. The owner and staff were friendly and the food were delicious, muy delicioso!
