This musical traces Alexander Hamilton’s rise from orphan to influential Founding Father, showcasing his roles as George Washington’s right-hand man, a war hero, a Treasury head, and a husband caught in early American scandals.
Composed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, a Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-winner, and directed by Tony Award-nominee Thomas Kail, the show tells a story about ambition, voice, and transformation.
Characters include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Eliza Hamilton, and Aaron Burr, all set to a score that fuses hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway influences.
Leslie Odom Jr. will reprise the role of Aaron Burr from September 9 through November 26; tickets during this period are nearly sold out.
