Description
Explore Central Park’s many attractions starting from 59th Street (Columbus Circle). Visit locations such as the carousel, Alice in Wonderland sculpture, and Central Park Lake. See the Dairy building and the Balto statue, and try a game at the chess and checkers house.
The Bethesda Fountain, literary walk with statues of famous authors, and Strawberry Fields are all located in the park’s lower half and can be visited within an hour. Beyond 72nd Street up to 110th Street, you can complete the full five-mile loop through the park's diverse areas.
In warm weather, enjoy a carousel ride or picnic in Sheep Meadow. During winter, a ride around the ice-skating rink is an option. A Central Park map is provided to help you plan your route at your own pace.
