Came to NY for a work conference where they had me stay at the Hilton Midtown. I wish I would have been able to stay here instead! This place is in the center of it all with a roof top bar and pool! It was like a nice little getaway in the middle of a bustling city! The rooms come with free water and coffee, something you had to pay for at the Hilton. Sad we were only there on our last night in NY but also glad to have had experienced it. The restaurant, bar, and cafe were all extra convenient offerings! Thank you for a lovely stay! We hope to be back! Shout out to the bar tender who went the extra mile on our last night there, despite it being a busy night, service and drinks were amazing!
Rooms are small but the location is perfect if you want to walk around the city and site see. The pool is really convenient but does get packed quick. My experience was going great UNTIL… I DO NOT recommend the rooftop bar, “5 o clock somewhere”. I came to the city to celebrate 2 friends birthdays and our plan was to celebrate Friday night at the rooftop bar. Only 2 of us were staying at the hotel so we were at our table waiting for the rest of our group ( 2 more) to come. We opened a tab and got a drink. While we waited (around 20 mins) the server came over SIX times to tell us that we need to start ordering more or move to the bar area because other guest would like to sit outside and plan to spend more money. I informed him that we are waiting for 2 others and once they came I planned to do dinner and bottle service. Well, he told me he gets paid off guest spending money and he turned a party away that was ready to buy the bottles. Mind you, we had a tab open, was actively drinking, there was no minimum spends, and the inside was empty. My other 2 friends were on their way up in the elevator when this happened but we didn’t appreciate the service so we decided to leave. The server followed us out and snottly said “well tell your friend happy birthday”. Very distasteful! Would NOT return to that bar.
Our one week stay at the Margaritaville Resort Hotel in the heart of Times Square was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel truly delivered a resort style experience in the middle of New York City. Our room was beautiful, featuring a comfortable king size bed and a lovely pool facing view. The amenities were excellent, including a fully equipped 24 hour fitness center and a pool that was open for 12 hours each day. The pool is slightly heated, which was perfect even in the summer heat. The dining options were great. The LandShark Grill & Bar overlooks the pool, creating a relaxing atmosphere. There's also a beautiful second floor restaurant with a Statue of Liberty centerpiece that looks especially stunning in the evening. The rooftop bar on the 31st floor was a highlight of our stay, offering spectacular views of Hudson Yards, the Empire State Building, and the iconic Times Square Ball. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day, keeping our room fresh and spotless. The front desk staff was amazing and made our early Monday check in completely seamless. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better. Situated right on Fashion Avenue, we were in the heart of Times Square, with Bryant Park just one avenue away. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return. If you're looking for a hotel that combines resort style amenities with an unbeatable Midtown Manhattan location, Margaritaville Resort Times Square is an excellent choice.
We recently visited Margaritaville in New York for dinner, and we had a truly amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable right away. One of the employees even kindly took photos for our group, which made the experience even more special and memorable. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a lively and fun atmosphere that really captures the spirit of the place. Everything felt well put together, from the design to the overall vibe. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Every detail contributed to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time. It was a fun, friendly, and unforgettable evening, and we would definitely visit again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great atmosphere in New York City.
My husband and I stayed three nights in a King Suite at Margaritaville and overall had a great stay. When we checked in, Will was working the front desk, and he was truly a ray of sunshine. It was around 1:30 a.m., and despite the late hour, he greeted us with a genuine smile, positive energy, and exceptional hospitality. He was friendly, professional, engaging, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked through the doors. He provided the kind of warm, personalized service you would expect from a top-tier luxury hotel. Will set the tone for a wonderful stay. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was another huge plus—it’s centrally located and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast bagel sandwich was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it every morning during our stay! There were a few areas that could be improved. I wasn’t a fan of having to stop by the lobby each morning to pick up breakfast vouchers. The automatic 20% gratuity also felt a bit excessive since the service wasn’t always as attentive as I would have expected. The pool deck was somewhat small, and some of the lounge chairs could have used a better cleaning. I also wish guests were allowed to bring outside food into the pool area. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and the excellent customer service—especially from Will—was a highlight of our trip.
