Hilton New York Times Square
New York
Recensioner
This is a very nice hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The security officers make sure that everything in the hotel is safe and sound and they are very nice. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly. The bar/restaurant is wonderful with a great selection of drinks and a menu with just enough tasty choices so that there's something for everyone. The bar tenders are truly top notch. My room was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. I am a big fan of the Hilton bath products and toiletries.
We had a great stay here. Although only one night, it was perfectly located in Times Square. It was easy to get to public transit, restaurants, and activities. Even with the hotel being in the middle of Time Square, the hotel felt safe with plenty of securlty. We enjoyed the sklyline view from our window. The room was clean and good size, especially for New York standards. Food was a little pricier, but to be expected in the city. I would definitely visit again.
I got a corner room which was palatial in space compared to most NYC hotel rooms. Honestly bigger than most apartments in Manhattan. If you want TSQ, Javits, or need access to the Times Center this is your spot. I don’t normally stay in TSQ if I don’t have too but I needed to get to the Times Center early in the morning so it made sense. Pricing is good. Lobby is nice. It’s a good buy.
My family and I recently stayed at the Hilton New York Times Square during our trip to New York City and had a great experience. The location is hard to beat. It was within walking distance of so many attractions and was literally right next to the Aladdin theater, which made it incredibly convenient for our family. While the rooms could use a little updating, they were clean, comfortable, and worked well for our stay. What really stood out happened on our way home. While at the airport waiting for our flight, we realized we had accidentally left our passports and a pair of sunglasses locked in the room safe. By that point it was too late to return to the hotel, and we were understandably concerned. The Security Department was absolutely outstanding. They quickly located our belongings, kept us informed throughout the process, and helped coordinate their safe return to us after we had already returned home. What could have turned into a very stressful situation was handled with professionalism, honesty, and genuine care. A sincere thank you to the Security Department and everyone involved. Great customer service is easy to appreciate, but finding a team you can truly trust is even more valuable. We would happily stay here again on a future trip to New York.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and overall the hotel has many positives. The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious by New York standards, and both the room and common areas were very clean. These aspects made our stay enjoyable. However, there was one disappointing experience at the end of our trip. We checked out at 8:00 AM, even though we could have remained in our room much later. After checking out, we simply wanted to leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours before heading to the airport. We were surprised to learn that luggage storage costs $5 per bag. For a hotel at this price point, charging guests for luggage storage on the day of departure feels unnecessarily unfriendly. What made the situation even more confusing was being told that we could simply leave a tip instead of paying the fee. This felt inconsistent and not particularly professional. Overall, we had a very good stay and would still recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, room size, and front desk team. However, the luggage storage policy left a disappointing final impression and is something I believe the hotel should reconsider.
