We hosted our wedding after party at Velvet and it was the best decision I made! From planning to the day of event - Jose and staffs were so helpful and attentive and kind, made our day extra special. The space has great lighting, decoration, and also mic and screen for karaoke! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private venue, can comfortably fit ~60 people.
We hosted our engagement party at Velvet Brooklyn and it was a 10/10 experience. I was nervous about coordinating an event while across the country, but working with Jose quickly gave me confidence the event would be a success. He communicated clearly with quick turn around, handled everything I needed promptly, and brought suggestions to planning that we ended up using. Jose is clearly in a league of his own when it comes to event planning. Even though our event was relatively small, he treated it with the respect and the seriousness of a 1000+ person event. He is the real deal and I hope I have the opportunity to work with him again one day. The venue and staff at Velvet Brooklyn also deserve a note. The prices were reasonable without sacrificing on quality. We had to reschedule our event due to unforeseen circumstances and they worked with us to find a solution. Also the staff was very friendly and contributed to great guest experience and a successful event. Like I said before this was a 10/10 experience.
Jose is the absolute BEST host/event coordinator/manager EVER!! 🫶🏽 I had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my birthday with the Velvet BK team. Everything exceeded my expectations x 100000%!! Thank you for ALL of your help in making my birthday super special and unforgettable. You all were so accommodating and just made everything so seamless. You were so attentive not only to me, but to all of my guests as well. My family and friends can’t stop telling me how great you were that night. I made the right choice with booking this venue! Again THANK YOU for EVERYTHING! I will definitely be stopping by or holding another event here real soon! Velvet BK is officially my new family 🫶🏽
We hosted a panel event here and could not have had a better experience from start to finish. From our very first site visit, Jose (the venue manager) was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our event a success, exactly what you want when you're in the thick of event planning. Day-of, Jose and his team were incredibly hands-on without ever getting in the way. They made our entire crew feel taken care of, which made all the difference. The space itself is stunning! A true hidden gem that our guests could not stop talking about all night. We will absolutely be back. :)
This past weekend the Velvet Brooklyn staff hosted my 32nd Mean Girls themed birthday party in their private lounge. Jose the event coordinator & GM, plus the rest of the Velvet Brooklyn staff were all very attentive & just AMAZINGGG with helping make my celebration such a special night!!!! From helping me set up a laptop to stream the movie on their screen behind the bar while the party was in motion, to just being so friendly & consistent with checking in. The lounge was perfect for my party. I had private catering come in before I arrived to set up the food and again the venue was so accommodating in assisting my caterer with whatever she needed. The night was so much fun, all of my guests were having a great time. I had a great time & would definitely recommend Velvet Brooklyn to anyone who is looking for a fabulous space to host their special events. Also I would like to shout out the owner, Phil for also being so wonderful throughout the whole booking process. Thank you Phil, you have a great staff behind you - keep up the great work & I will be stopping by soon to enjoy some cocktails!!!
