I was one of the last people in my family to go to Peter Lugers in Brooklyn. And frankly, I was jealous to hear the stories about how great the restaurant and food is. Well! I went, an anniversary dinner with my hubby, and it did not disappoint! Great menu, great service (Eric) and great atmosphere! I highly recommend the bacon with onion and tomatoes and the we had the T-bone steak for two. Delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. We had the creamed spinach and German potatoes as sides and the chocolate fudge sundae for dessert! What a meal! Thankfully Eric packed up all of our leftovers and we were able to enjoy it again the next day 😁 If you are in Brooklyn, and you want a great steak, head to Peter Lugers and you will be the envy of your friends and family!
I would call the steak here as food for the gods. It was just superb. What softness, what juiciness! Just melted in the mouth and with all the flavours of the dry aged meat. Also, the portion is on the larger side, but not very challenging. Upto you if you want to share your plate - I did not. We had a side of the potato French fries that were classic. Had the long ones after a really long time. Wife had a jumbo lump of crab meat and she was not very excited with this. Service was excellent and not what we read in some reviews. We had reserved and were delayed by an hour due to subway interruptions - but they gladly accepted us. And the place was full. The waiters were nice and with smiles. The place has an old-world charm with dated furniture and gave a warm feeling. The neighbourhood is very down to earth and adds to the charm of this restaurant. Finally, if you love steak you have to be here.
Had a great experience at Peter Luger Steak House. The steak was the highlight—huge, flavorful, and perfectly cooked medium rare. We ordered the steak for 3, and it was enough for our group of 6 to enjoy. 🥩 The burger was good, though a little dry for my taste. 🍔 The staff were very accommodating, allowing us to add one more guest at the last minute despite having a reservation for 5. Special thanks to Marian, our server, who was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. 😊 Would definitely come back for the steak!
Dining at Peter Luger Steak House was truly unforgettable. Honestly one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. The meat had that perfect texture — beautifully crispy on the outside, yet incredibly tender and juicy with every bite. The flavor was deep, rich, and cooked to perfection. Their famous sauce was also very unique and complemented the steak exceptionally well. Even the butter stood out — rich, flavorful, and surprisingly memorable on its own. No wonder this legendary steakhouse has received Michelin recognition for years and has remained iconic since 1887. A timeless New York dining experience that absolutely lives up to its reputation. 🥩✨
I am not a steak lover but my all loving friends and families they love steak. I bring them to this place and treat them with the best steak. Great experience. Very classic and traditional steak house. Love their staff. They take their roles seriously proudly and professionally. That makes everything different.
