Small intimate, Italian restaurant on the upper west side. I highly recommend reservations and if the patio is the only availability, take it. I recently sat on the patio and it was lovely. It’s heated in the winter time and you never would’ve even known you weren’t sitting inside the restaurant as for the food it was excellent I highly recommend this hidden gem. It’s perfect for intimate dinners, family dinners, you name it they will take care of you. Excellent service also.
Nice neighborhood Italian. Came for happy hour and enjoyed everything but nothing was the best version I’ve ever had of it. I did think it was quite reasonable price wise and would certainly go back. The calamari and cheesy bread stood out more than the pastas for me
Loved loved this cozy Italian place - it felt like dining in someone’s library. They have a fantastic happy hour with prices that are tough to beat. We got the vitello tonnato, which tasted just like what you’d get in Piemonte. We also shared the arancini, which was pretty good, though the crust was a little overwhelming for me. The lasagna was delicious and cheesy, and I would’ve loved a bit more meat sauce personally. My partner ordered the tagliatelle, which was just perfection - I’ll definitely be getting that next time!
We recently moved to the Upper West Side and decided to try Osteria Accademia, and we’re so happy we did. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner in the neighborhood. The service was genuinely great , attentive, friendly, and professional without being overbearing. You can tell they really care about their guests. The pasta was fresh and absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. It feels like a true neighborhood Italian spot that we’re lucky to have nearby. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Just wow. We didn’t have much to have a full dinner, but we did order the paccheri and squid ink pasta, and they were both delicious!! The pastas are handmade fresh, and the flavor was just perfect! The cheesecake and cannolis were amazing too. The place itself is very cute as well. We enjoyed the vibe, and they had a high chair for our 7 month old. Service was great. Can’t wait to return and try other items on the menu!
