We came for brunch on a July Saturday afternoon hoping for a turn up but there was no DJ. Instead we enjoyed a relaxing upscale afternoon with caviar, the days special of truffle ravioli and a Cobb salad. The drinks were ice cold and the servers were all so kind. As a party of two, we sat in the window and watched people walk by which was fun. It’s delicious food, I love coming here in the summer.
I had brunch at Le Bilboquet in the Upper East Side with one of my closest friends, and it was a superb experience. Even though it was a quieter time of year due to the summer season, the restaurant still had such a sophisticated and refined atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, attentive, professional, and welcoming. The location is beautiful, and the restaurant has a very elegant, upscale feel that makes it the perfect place for a special brunch. It’s the kind of place where you can dress up, take your time, and simply enjoy the experience. Overall, I had a fabulous time. Between the beautiful setting, great service, and sophisticated ambience, it was a memorable brunch experience in New York.
We had dinner here last night. The weather in New York was beautiful. Windows were open, customers and staff in a good mood, a perfect Thursday evening! Great cocktails, delicious steamed mussels in white wine broth, perfect steak frites, and a rich chocolate mouse avec chantilly to end the meal. Excellent service. Highly recommend. My only criticism is prices are on the high side even for Manhattan!
With parts of our family being away from home, we decided to dine out on Christmas Eve. We have rarely made a better decision. Le Bilbo may not be classic French cuisine but everything we ordered was so perfect in taste and presentation, it was beyond expectation. Order a laissez faire cocktail and anything else, you won’t go wrong. Superb dining experience
Great scene and excellent service. As long as you’re expecting the prices, it’s a fantastic spot. We had the soup, the artichoke, the chicken, and the mussels, all really good. We skipped the tuna tartare this time but it’s always amazing. Gets very crowded, but definitely worth a visit.
