Highly recommend having a drink at the bar first. Great ambiance, music is at perfect volume you can still have conversation and hear the music. All the food is just delicious. On the pricier side so yes expect to pay a good amount especially if you want to try things. Hard to choose just one but would say the crab cakes and steak tartar were top as appetizers. The filet mignon has a crust that just transforms the steak, very well seasoned and came out at the perfect medium rare I ordered. The dessert of pecan slice with maple bourbon can't be described and must be had. Overall a great dinner and excellent service.

We celebrated Father’s Day at La Tête d’Or and it was an absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Let’s say, I live in Miami Florida , Thailand & Japan & dine at a lot of Michelin Bib Gourmand Spots. This place is Mind blowing. The service was exceptional, and a special thank you to Anthony, the manager, who went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. His hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests truly elevated the experience. The food was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked to perfection and among the best we’ve had anywhere. The tableside Caesar salad (The Best We Ever Had In LIFE) was so incredible that we ordered a second one. The Hamachi Crudo was fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. To finish, we shared the ice cream sundae dessert, which was absolutely outstanding and the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Chef Daniel Boulud has created something truly special with La Tête d’Or. The combination of French refinement, classic steakhouse excellence, impeccable service, and a stunning atmosphere makes this one of New York City’s premier dining destinations. A perfect Father’s Day celebration. We can’t wait to return!

One of the better solo bar dining experiences in the city right now. Sat at the bar, had a great martini, worked through steak tartare, Caesar salad with anchovies on the side, and the steak frites. Every dish delivered. The room is stunning and the staff actually knows the menu which sounds basic but is rarer than it should be. The crème caramel finished things off perfectly. For a Daniel Boulud restaurant the price point is surprisingly reasonable. Go for the steak frites, come back for the filet mignon. I already am.

Great dining experience. The place is stunning and the staff is very nice. The food was incredible. I think it’s safe to say this was the best Cesar salad I’ve ever had. The steak was great. We also tried their famous prime rib and a few appetizers. The sundae was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.

I had the most amazing experience at La Tête d’Or, from the moment we walked in. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. The filet mignon was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and full of flavor. Truly unforgettable. The crab cake was delicious, the popovers were incredible, and the Brussel sprouts were amazing (I’m already thinking about when I can have them again!). My husband had the 28 day ribeye and it was EXCELLENT. The vanilla berry soft serve was like nothing I’ve ever experienced.. literally the perfect ending to our night. Can’t wait to try the other flavor. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was fantastic — from the servers, to the hosts and hostesses, and even the QUEEN running the coat check. You can tell they take pride in creating a top-tier experience. This was an amazing night all around. La Tête d’Or has officially made its way to the top of my steakhouse list in NYC. I can’t wait to come back!!
