We got married at Fandi Mata on 3.28.26 and it was perfect! Couldn't recommend enough. Ivana and the whole team made the process easy and fun. We always felt taken care of and that we were special - none of that "wedding factory" feel here. Plus, the food and decor are so good and all our guests were raving about the venue, all food (cocktail hour bites, dinner, late night pizza!) and the service. It felt so good knowing that all our guests were going to get amazing, restaurant-quality food and not the same boring wedding food everyone has had a million times. Highly, highly, recommend if you want to get married at a cool Brooklyn venue!

I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. I was almost lucky enough to have my wedding here but due to a number of circumstances I was not able to secure the venue- which is so sad because it would have been perfect here. The food is sublime. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the decor is upscale and fun. The owner is an ANGEL!!! I cannot say enough good things about this woman and how much love she put into her establishment. There is not one staff member at Fandi Mata that is unhappy to be here. We were taken care of by Marco, who is an incredible server and made our dinner a genuinely pleasant experience. Please come here if you can- the food is so so good! And if you were thinking of having your wedding here let this review be the reason you do it!

We came to Fandi Mata for brunch and had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the pitcher of the passion fruit cocktail, it was super tasty and refreshing. The space itself is very cool and has a great vibe. The only downside was the DJ/music was way too loud for 1pm brunch, making it really hard to hear each other at the table. Still a fun spot and definitely worth checking out!

Overall rating: 4.3 So I’ve had this place saved for years based off a tiktok that claimed they had a great happy hour. That was a lie. The space is so beautiful but since I came here for the happy hour, I was very disappointed with limited options. A cocktail flight of 3x for $20 is okay, but Im also not trying to get drunk at 5pm. $6 for a cocktail would have been preferred. Also the drinks are too sweet and I only liked one of them. The bartenders were nice, but it wasn’t the spot for me solo. Maybe a date.

Epic parlor party celebrating Karla Mellett. She had superb art displayed and my friend bought one of her paintings depicting Mufasa! The meze plate was bangin and the vibes were even more legit. Super hyped to have checked out this spot. My mans Tradon put me on and I’m mad grateful. def do ur self a favor and pop through here. U will not be disappointed.
