Great food with a charming old-time atmosphere. Every dish was well-executed, but the scrambled eggs truly stood out—creamy, soft, and full of flavor. They elevated the entire meal.
The interior of the restaurant had a nice dark and sexy vibe without being super pretentious. I loved how the server talks about each dish and writes it out. The food was delicious and fresh and my wine was nice too. I want to come back and try more of the menu.
I am on a mission to find the best brunch/breakfast spots in 2026 and Diner was the 5th and best spot thus far! Very tiny, cool space and tables fit up to 4 people but 3 was a tight squeeze already. We had the Caesar salad, French toast with chocolate and cherries, side of potatoes and breakfast sausage, the burger and the gravlax. The hits at the table were the gravlax and the side of potatoes and sausage. Some of the best breakfast potato’s I’ve had! The French toast was very good but I knew the cherry/chocolate combo wouldn’t be my favorite. I’d try it again with a lighter topping like apples and with more people to share it with. The burger was good but I’d try another sandwich before ordering it again. I also personally prefer a thin patty and this was a thicker style. Loved the salad and would definitely get it again. Can’t wait to come back here to try some of the seasonal options but I’d come back for that sausage and potatoes anytime. Solid service as well! We will be back.
I came to this restaurant by chance I was just looking for a restroom. When I walked in, I said I would order something and asked if I could use the restroom first. The staff were very kind and told me that I didn’t need to order anything and that I could go ahead and use it. I was very impressed. After using the restroom, I ordered a burger and a beer. I definitely hope to come back again
Great restaurant with a good drinks selection and great food. Especially nice for people who appreciate a good kitchen and special tastes. The food was very fresh and original, there were pescetarian, vegetarian and gluten free options (although less options for vegetarians). There were quite some fish options and some meat options - nothing really for vegans. I am coeliac and I told them about it - the waiter was very knowledgeable and clear about what had gluten (and even where there was cross contamination from the fryer and white soy sauce they use in some dishes). They don’t have any gf bread but I had a great experience and ate very well. They had a flourless cake which was awesome and I could eat for deser to highty, highly reccomend overall! It is on the pricier side but defo recoomend and worth it!! Definitely get a reservation.
