This restaurant was such a great find 🤍 The space is cozy and welcoming, and the customer service was amazing, everyone was so kind and attentive. The food was honestly so delicious. We got the seafood risotto and it was incredibly creamy and full of flavor. The truffle fries were perfect too crispy on the outside but still soft inside. We also tried a bunch of other sides and everything was just as good. We walked in without a reservation and got lucky, but I’d definitely recommend making one just in case. Overall, such a good experience I’d 100% go back!
I had the best meal of my time in New York at BSTRO 38. Everything was precise and well executed, and the wine selection stood out as one of the highlights of the evening. A special mention to Micaela (apologies if I’m misspelling her name), who was genuinely warm and attentive without ever being intrusive — a rare balance that made the experience even better. BSTRO 38 offers something increasingly hard to find in the city: a moment of calm and enjoyment in the middle of New York’s constant energy. Highly recommended for anyone who values good food, thoughtful service, and a bit of quiet amidst the rush.
Took my fiancee here for valentines since we were travelling through New York that weekend. Amazing food. The Aussie Lamb Chops in particular were fantastic and our waiter Starlin was an absolute delight
Bstro 38 is located in a street of Manhattan that is not one of the nicer looking. Haven said that food was delicious, beautifully presented and impecable service….also prices were reasonable for the quality, size and presentation! Totally recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant is a great place to grab some bar food at happy hour, or something more substantial when dining with a party. They have excellent starters like gambas al ajillo and sliders, along with drinks for happy hour. For the mains, you have options like chicken and even steak. Their churrasco is very good, cooked perfectly juicy and toothsome. It comes with a strong chimichurri and the yucca fries are crisp. The interior of the restaurant is dim and the bar is upfront with dining seating in the back. Staff are super friendly and the bartender is excellent!
