Absolutely fantastic. Isaiah made the experience especially great! He was so warm, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Various chefs came to present each dish at individual times and it was so lovely to be able to receive our courses that way. Compared to Aquavit, I would choose Aska over and over. I will be thinking about the “Milk & Whey” dessert for the rest of my life!

Aska lives up to the hype and was a memorable dining experience. I appreciated the intentional lighting, which draws your focus to the artistry of the food, as well as around the open kitchen where we could watch the chefs work together throughout the evening. The staff were attentive, warm, and thoughtful from start to finish. One detail I particularly enjoyed was the presentation of the evening’s ingredients before the meal began. It was a wonderful introduction to the menu and gave us a deeper appreciation for each dish as it arrived. The food was inventive, beautifully executed, and enjoyable. My favorite courses were the hake, quail, and venison.

Aska NYC was phenomenal - one of the best tasting experiences I have ever had: 1. Carefully curated and took notes of all my dietary preferences 2. Carmin (not sure their name if I got it correctly) was a great host and was very accommodating to recommend non-alcoholic options 3. Ambience was so perfect and unlike other restaurants that as soon as they get a star, other restaurants transform to try too hard and come across pretentious I like Aska’s vibe - quiet confidence. The mixture of black and wood tones make Aska so elegant 4. My favourite was the signature dish (Langoustine) - simple and unassuming but mind blowing. I dined by myself but they still gave me two servings of the petit fours and a full serving of bread which I thought was very generous of them 5. Tried the Kally non-alcoholic drink and super perfect for the snacks Highly recommended! Very deserving of their Michelin rating!

Aska was really amazing. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared from beginning to end, and every dish was so delicious and beautifully presented. The food was refined, creative, and memorable, but the atmosphere still felt warm and comfortable. I really loved the overall vibe of the restaurant. Since it is located in Brooklyn, the price also felt relatively more reasonable compared to similar upscale Michelin-starred restaurants in Manhattan. Of course, it is still a special occasion type of place, but considering the quality of the food, presentation, service, and overall experience, I thought it felt worth it. The dishes were not only delicious but also very elegant visually, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. It felt like a full dining experience rather than just a meal. The pacing, the atmosphere, and the flavors all worked really well together. I would highly recommend Aska to anyone looking for a beautiful upscale dining experience in New York. It is definitely a place I would love to go back to again.

This was my first Michelin experience, I went here a couple of months ago. The food is immaculate, absolutely exquisite. The Sea Oak was by far the best bite of food I've experienced, tied with the Oscitera Caviar. I was blown away, physically reeling from just how expertly crafted each bite was, down to the placement of sauce and the variety of textures. The service was excellent. The waiters worked together beautifully and they were very kind and attentive. My only gripe is that they seemed more interested in explaining these dishes to my Michelin savvy friend instead of myself, as they would turn to him and I'd be hearing every other word from them on account of low volume. The atmosphere was beautiful. Peaceful and calm, lighting was perfect for pictures, and seeing the cooks in front of us operating at such a high level with no stress was awe inspiring. The wine selection was also excellent, with each wine being selected to pair with a dish from the tasting menu, we tasted many kinds and it was great hearing stories about each one.
