At. First I was apprehensive because of the location. However they quickly put us at ease. We had a great staff and they made their recommendations. We had 2 appetizers and each own fish Entre. The pictures of them cooking the salted fish are included here. The food, drinks and dessert were excellent. Even though it became more crowded as the night progressed. They offered us champagne and the dessert came out. They do appear on the bill and I didn’t happen to ask when they offered.
Came here for brunch and absolutely loved the atmosphere. This place is such a gorgeous spot if you are looking for a cute, elevated brunch in NYC. Every corner is beautifully designed, making it perfect for photos. We ordered the truffle mushroom flatbread, burger, and eggs benedict. The truffle mushroom flatbread was definitely the standout. It was so flavorful and a must-order! The other dishes were solid, and the service was super friendly. Special shoutout to our server, Julian, he was very attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I would come back for the ambiance and to try their dinner menu!
If you’re looking for a 10/10 vibe for your next group dinner, Aquarelle is literally it. We went with a big group and basically did a speedrun of the entire menu. The "Must-Orders" for the table: • The Royal Tower: Genuinely massive. 12 clams, 12 oysters, whole lobster, ceviche, scallops… If you don’t get this for the table, you’re doing it wrong. Everything was SO fresh. • Salt-Baked Whole Fish: This was a whole moment. They lit it on fire 🔥, hammered the salt shell off, and prepped it tableside. • Seafood Risotto: They brought out the cheese wheel for this one. 🧀 It was so creamy We also had grilled octopus, squid, a few the flatbreads, and basically every pasta on the menu. Loved all the pastas . Desserts: The Pistachio Crème Brûlée is a NEED. I’ve never seen that flavor combo before and it’s officially my new fav. The chocolate lava cake and donuts was also delicious The restaurant is beautiful and the service was 10/10.
I had the honor of celebrating my birthday at Aquarelle, and I truly can’t say enough about how incredible they were in making the night special. I had about 20 guests in their private space, which is absolutely beautiful—featuring a large round table, great seating, and a really nice, elevated decor at the top of the restaurant. They offer an affordable prix fixe menu that includes a four-course meal and a drink, and the food and drinks were genuinely great. The table was set up beautifully, and the team was extremely accommodating throughout the entire experience. They even allow you to connect to the aux, which kept the energy going in the private space. All of the staff at Aquarelle were so kind and attentive. A huge shoutout to Mara, the event coordinator. She was communicative, flexible, and incredibly supportive leading up to and during my special day. Shoutout to her and the owner for such a seamless experience, they are genuinely so nice. I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a memorable restaurant experience for a group. Aquarelle is absolutely the place to do it. -Jaleel
