How is this place so quiet. The bar tender was so nice and talkative. A real good local spot that you should visit.
I booked a private party in the smaller room over a month ago and people are still reaching out to me saying how great of a time they had. From the beautiful interior to the quick service and ample seating, it was a night to remember. Everyone was so helpful and I was able to bring my own food for the party too. The owner even brought out a table which was extremely nice and divided the room nicely. I live around the corner and constantly bring people here. The drinks are also delicious and are very well priced for the area!
A very well-decorated bar with both bar and booth-ish seating. I love how they set up the tables and seating arrangements so that a group sitting around still feel intimate regardless of how many people around. The vibes are very much cozy Parisian saloon. The drinks are well-made, which is not always the case when it comes to NYC bars even with the usual $15-$20 per cocktail price tag. There is a variety of different alcohols and flavorings for different taste buds. I've drank a far amount of cocktails around the world, and I definitely enjoyed my drinks here and will be back. My only suggestion is that the volume of the music should be much lower, as it was almost deafening when I was there, which was almost midnight on a weekday and the place was not very crowded. I had to almost yell to talk.
Love the vibes here - and the flower child cocktail was delicious! Options may not be as plentiful as other places but damn it’s really good and strong. Shout out to the bartender who went above and beyond to make absinthe for a friend - and in the end it was on the house since he liked my friends taste. Point is customer service and vibes were spot on - def worth a visit. Loved the interior too - it’s like sort of dark gothic / academia feels. We went on a Tuesday because we like it less crowded. Last time we came on a Friday and it was PACKED.
